There are no minimum or maximum height requirements to join Police Scotland. Since 2004 there are no longer any height restrictions to join the Police in Scotland. The former height restrictions were a minimum height of 5ft 8in and 5ft 4in for men and women respectively, which stopped candidates progressing through the recruitment process.
Is there a weight Restriction for Police Scotland?
Whilst there are no weight restrictions, there are requirements for your BMI. Your BMI must be between the range of 18-30 in order to become a Police officer for Police Scotland. Please see below for a BMI chart. Find out more about Police Scotland requirements here
